Early Career Researchers Network
Early Career Researchers Network
The Early Career Researchers Network brings together postdocs and assistant professors across the Department of Public Health.The network provides a forum for meeting colleagues across research sections, exchanging experiences and discussing topics that matter to junior researchers. Our aim is to strengthen connections across the department and create opportunities for professional development, peer support and dialogue about life and careers as junior researchers.
What we do
Throughout the year, we organise a mix of informal lunch meetings and larger meetings focusing on topics relevant to junior researchers. Activities are shaped by the interests and needs of the network and may include discussions about research funding, career development, academic working conditions, teaching, collaboration and other aspects of academic life.
The network also provides an opportunity to raise issues and perspectives that are relevant to junior researchers at the Department of Public Health.
Who can join?
The network is open to postdocs and assistant professors across all research sections at the Department of Public Health.
New colleagues are very welcome.
