Do not take personal IT devices to high-risk countries

If you travel to one of the so-called high-risk countries for research, teaching or to study, you are no longer allowed to take your personal computer and mobile phone. Instead, you can borrow one of the faculty's new travel kits, which will secure only limited access to software and data in the event of data breaches.

The University's Information Security Committee strongly recommends that you leave personal IT devices at home if you travel to high-risk countries, including Russia, North Korea, Iran and China.

Health is therefore putting together ten travel kits for employees with work-related stays in the relevant countries. Each travel kit consists of a laptop and a mobile phone, both with limited access to software and data.

If you need to borrow one of the ten travel kits, please contact Health IT via email: health.it@au.dk or tel.: +45 87 15 09 22

As the travel kit must be prepared before it can be handed over, it is important that you contact Health IT well in advance of departure, and make sure there is time to hand over the devices.
