Remember your access card on Friday

When the Regatta sets sail in the University Park on Friday 3 May, all Health's buildings will be locked, and only a few entrances will be accessible using access cards. See which entrances can be used below.

To avoid overloading the toilets and an influx of too many rowdy and competitive students inside, all Health’s buildings will be locked on Friday 3 May 2024.

Several of the card readers by the outer doors will be deactivated, so only selected entrances can be accessed using employee access cards - and remember to shut the doors completely when entering and exiting the buildings.

See which entrances can be used on the maps below:

There will be a guard at the main entrance to the Department of Dentistry and Oral Health as there are ongoing exams at the department. Several guards will be patrolling the University Park all day on Friday to secure the Health buildings.

It is therefore important to remember your access card, as the security guards have the right to refuse access to employees who do not have a card on them.

Student access cards will be deactivated on the evening of Thursday 2 May 2024.

Parking conditions in the University Park will also be affected in the week leading up to the Regatta. Read more about it in the article "Regatta 2024: Streets and car parks in the University Park will be blocked off.
