Data management

The data managers are IT administrative employees who provide data management support to employees at the Department of Public Health.

Generally, the data managers develop, implement and update databases and dataset in accordance with standards, scientific and technical requirements. The data managers’ expertise thus comprises design, development and implementation.

The data managers can assist you in handling data, for example in relation to data retrieval from registers, linkage of data, preparation of data and dataset for processing in SAS, Stata, etc. The data managers can also help designing databases and questionnaires.

The data managers provide assistance with SAS, SPSS, STATA, Teleform, SurveyXact, EPI Data, SQL Server, Microsoft Excel/Access, NVivo, etc., and prepare dataset for scientific analysis.

On completion of projects, the data managers can help you submitting data to the Danish Data Archive, including preparing format catalogue and documentation.
